Alachua Family Dentistry Team
I was born and raised in this area and love this community. So, when I was asked to join the team at Alachua Family Dentistry in September of 2018 as Business Manager, I was beyond excited. I have been part of the dental world since graduating from Santa Fe College in 1998. I started out as a Dental Assistant and enjoyed the clinical aspect of dentistry for 14 years before switching gears to the business side of things in 2012. I am incredibly blessed to be a part of this fantastic team and get to see our exceptional patients both in the office and the community. My life and heart are full with my three kids, Tyler, Zoe and Addison and my crazy French Bulldog, Olivia Belle. My spare time is taken up by my kiddos and family, friends, beach trips, watching all Gator sports, road trips, the gym, running and fishing.
I started out in the medical field as a Certified Nursing Assistant over 20 years ago. I have always wanted to help people in some capacity and transitioned to Dental Assisting, which I love. I have over 12 years of experience and received my certification as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant and in Dental Radiology from the University of Florida Dental School. I joined Alachua Family Dentistry in 2012 and have learned so much here. I really enjoy working here with a great team that is the most caring bunch of people I have had the pleasure of working with. I was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida and now live in High Springs with my family. I am a long time animal lover and have a couple of rescued cats and dogs. I love all kinds of music and enjoy watching movies. Painting is my latest favorite passion. I am also a big fan of reading and like to write poems. My daughter has even helped me self-publish 2 poetry books that are out there in Amazon land.
I was blessed to have been given the opportunity to work here at Alachua Family Dentistry since January 2012. Not only do I work for great doctors, but I work with a wonderful group of ladies, and call me biased, but I think we have the best patients! Each day I am excited to see who will be visiting our office and I enjoy sharing adventure locations and stories and talking animals (especially alligators) with our young patients. I am the proud Mum to 2 wonderful young men, John and Kevin. In my spare time I enjoy going to church, watching movies, reading, and exploring the great outdoors by hiking and/or kayaking and sharing those adventures on my YouTube channel.
I joined the office in 2008 as a Dental Assistant where I worked my way up to Head Dental Assistant. I returned to Santa Fe College and graduated in 2013 with an AS in Dental Hygiene and returned to the office to start the career that I love. I am certified in anesthesia as well. I love to meet all the patients and get to know them and watch their children grow. I was born and raised in Alachua, married the love of my life in June 2014 and now live in High Springs with my husband and my amazing children: Hunter, Bellamy, Reese. We really enjoy all out door activities like hunting, fishing and of course baseball.
Born and raised in Lake City, Florida. I grew up knowing I wanted to be a part of the dental world. After high school I attended Santa Fe College's Dental Hygiene Program where I fell in love with making connections with my patients and easing their dental anxiety. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful boyfriend, family, and friends. I am also a dog mom to my very spoiled dog, Molly.
I was born and raised in High Springs and I love being able to work so close to home. I started my journey as a Dental Assistant in 2015 and in August of 2019 was happy to find myself joining the team at Alachua Family Dentistry. I am blessed with a beautiful daughter who takes up most of my time. Outside of work, we enjoy traveling to new places and exploring the great outdoors.
I am a lifelong resident of Alachua County and thankful for being a part of this community. I graduated from the Dental Assisting Program at Santa Fe College in 2018 as a DANB Certified Dental Assistant. Shortly after, in that same year, I joined the Alachua Family Dentistry Team. I enjoy building relationships with our patients, helping our community, and helping provide a positive experience for those who visit our office for their dental needs. I am a mother of a wonderful daughter whom I completely adore. I enjoy time spent in nature at our local springs and rivers, spending time with family and friends, cheering on the Gators, traveling to the beach and beyond, cooking healthy meals, and enjoying all the blessings life has to offer.
